Sausage Cheese Balls

Sausage cheese balls are a Christmas essential in the Braun household. With roots in the Braun-Gehling Christmas baking, these warm, crispy, greasy balls of sausage and cheese make a great snack or indulgent Christmas breakfast or lunch. Needless to say, they have fueled many a holiday season. We hope this simple recipe gives you as many memories mixing, rolling, and, most importantly, eating large amounts of cheese balls as it has our family.

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 375 F
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well with hands
  3. Form into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet
  4. Bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown
  5. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before removing from sheet
  6. Serve with cocktail forks or toothpicks
